Olympic Lifting

Weightlifting is a sport which competitors attempt to lift heavy weights loaded on a barbell with weight plates. Weightlifting does work on improving an individual’s; power, flexibility, technique, mental and physical strength.

There are two core lifts which are the Snatch and Clean and Jerk. Both Lifts are quite technical, however, with the right guidance and regular training, our coaches will be able to successfully train you in becoming stronger and more confident in this discipline.
